The passing of Kate Spade this past June send shockwaves through the fashion world. Now her impact on the industry is being celebrated with a re-release of one of the designer’s signature pieces.

The Kate bag is set to hit retailers yet again through her line Frances Valentine, with proceeds from the item going to the Boys and Girls Club of America. Released at the start of Spade’s distinguished career in 1993, the accessory has remained a coveted item for decades. The tote, which will be available in four colors will be available exclusively at Barney’s and on the brand’s website.

“Katy’s imprint on design is singular and is the driving force behind everything we create at Frances Valentine. The Boys and Girls Club of America champions our young people and sees the innate potential in each child to become productive, caring and responsible citizens,” said Elyce Arons, managing partner of the brand and longtime friend of Spade said in a press release. “We’re passionate that everyone, no matter their background, have access to art, education and the opportunity to express. The BGCA has been providing these opportunities for over 100 years and we couldn’t think of a better organization to support in Katy’s honor.”

The Kate bag retails for 195 dollars and will be available beginning on September 6.
