Acne Studios to open on Melrose Avenue in spring 2018

Cult favorite label Acne Studios just confirmed it will be opening another location in West Holiday. The Swedish brand has targeted a high-profile spot landing on Los Angeles' Melrose Avenue.
The boutique will land at 8920 Melrose Avenue sometime in Spring 2018, as reported by Apparel News. The announcement was first made on the brand's Instagram with a photo of the location.The minimalist label has two other stores currently in California including a shop on Broadway in downtown Los Angeles and on Geary Street in San Francisco. The new location will mark the brand's third store in the state. The contemporary label has stores all over including popular markets such as London, Sydney, Tokyo, Milan, Melbourne and more. The new West Hollywood location could signify the brand's focus on the U.S. as well as its West Coast market, bringing the store's total in the country to seven.
The new space will encompass 1,650 square feet in and will retail the brand's collections. As a former art gallery, the new location neighbors other labels on the street including A.P.C., Marc Jacobs, John Varvatos, Marni, and more. While the brand is scheduled to open in the beginning of next year, Acne has not confirmed a launch date yet.
