Maison Kitsuné announced a new store opening recently. The company will be opening its flagship in department store Fujii Daimaru in Kyoto.

This store location will be Maison Kitsuné's fifth in Japan. Currently, the Parisian brand has locations in the district of Aoyama in Tokyo, in the district of Daikanyama, and in Shinjuku at Lumine's. The new space will boast 75 square meters and retail both menswear and womenswear. The aesthetic will reflect a Japanese-influenced aesthetic with wood accents, along with a gold and indigo color palette.

Co-founders and creative directors Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki both curated the space in order to retail their indigo-dyed capsule collection as a homage to its location. Now open, Maison Kitsuné's flagship will include its classic, revamped pieces with their 'Aizome' dyeing technique.
