Luxury British label Burberry is to be honoured with a Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Award,

which will see the brand immortalised on the fashion world’s answer to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Launch in 2003 by the city of Beverly Hills and the Rodeo Drive Committee, the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Award has previously been won by fashion designers Giorgio Armani, Tom Ford, Gianni and Donatella Versace, as well as footwear designer Manolo Blahnik, photographer Mario Testino, costume designer Edith Head, fashion editor Diana Vreeland, and the houses of Missoni and Ferragamo.

Burberry’s award will be presented on November 19, following the opening of its first three-story flagship store on the corner of Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way on November 7.

The symbol for the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style award is a sculpture entitled “Torso” created by world-renowned artist Robert Graham, which stands 14-feet tall at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way. As part of the induction, each recipient receives a maquette of “Torso”, as the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Award.
