Involved and collaborated since 1998, Dai Fujiwara is stepping down as the Creative Director

at Issey Miyake. In 2006, a new design era was announced with the arrival of Fujiwara replacing Miyake's associate Naoki Takizawa, who launched his own label supported by the Issey Miyake Group.

Fujiwara will hand over his design activities after the AW11 catwalk show presented during Paris Fashion Week. His decision to step down won't be the end of the collaboration between Fuijwara and Miyake, who overlooks the design team. Further details on the Issey Miyake design team are to be announced in April.
