Patrik Frisk, former Coalition President for VF Corporation Outdoor Americas division

is set to exit the company to become Chief Executive Officer of footwear retailer Aldo Group.

Frisk is set to succeed Aldo's current CEO, Rejean Dionne, who will retire from the company next month. “After over 10 wonderful years at VF Corporation, I have decided to move on and take on a new challenge,” said Frisk in an email. “From November, I will be based in Montreal, Canada, leading the Aldo Group.”

He has been credited for helping restore the Timberland brand, which was acquired by VF Corp. in 2011, and prior to his recent promoted to coalition president, he was brand president for the lifestyle brand. In his email Frisk added that he was excited to begin his new role at Aldo, which has over 1,750 stores around the world.

“The company is incredibly vibrant, dynamic and has a unique culture rooted in strong values, with lots of potential for future growth.” VF Corp has yet to announce its replacement for Frisk.
