The National Retail Federation (NRF) has unveiled its 2018 list of the 100 fastest-growing retailers in the United States. With a sales growth of 103 percent in 2017, compared to 2016, Primark managed to score the first place on NRF’s list. The British fast fashion retailer first landed in the US in 2015. Since then, it’s opened eight more stores in the country. The latest of them, opened in Brooklyn in May, spans over 58,000 square feet -- that’s 40 percent larger than the average Primark store in the US.

Amazon is the next retailer selling fashion to appear on the list, coming in fourth place. The giant e-tailer has seen a sales growth of 45 percent in the fiscal year 2017. Tapestry comes sixth, with a sales growth of 33 percent, followed by TechStyle Fashion Group (formerly Just Fab), in the 25th place. Department store Stage saw its sales grow 10 percent in 2017, which granted the company the 32nd spot on the list, while Forever 21 comes three spots below, followed by Lululemon. Their sales have also grown 10 percent in the same period, but they were placed lower on the list due to their worldwide sales volume being lower.

Ross Stores is number 41, H&M is 71, and G-III Apparel Group Ltd comes in the 73rd place. Gap, Michael Kors, American Eagle Outfitters and Abercrombie & Fitch also made the list, scoring the 92nd, 93rd, 95th and 97th places, respectively.
